Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen limeade concentrate thawed slightly for easier blending
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice adds brightness
  • 1 cup frozen mixed fruit can be strawberries, mango, or pineapple
  • 1 cup tequila frozen overnight for best flavor
  • 2 cups ice cubes adjust for desired texture
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup optional for added sweetness

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons

Method

  1. Measure and add the frozen limeade concentrate, fresh lime juice, frozen fruit, tequila, and honey or agave syrup into your blender.
  2. Scatter the ice cubes on top of the other ingredients to start the chilling process.
  3. Secure the lid on your blender and blend on high speed for about 30-45 seconds, until the mixture is smooth and slushy, with a vibrant green hue and frosty texture.
  4. Check the consistency—if it's too thick, add a splash of lime juice and blend briefly to loosen; if too watery, add more frozen fruit or ice and blend again.
  5. Pour the slushie into chilled glasses, allowing the icy texture to fill each glass generously.
  6. Garnish with lime slices or a sprig of mint for a colorful, refreshing presentation.
