Ingredients

  • 2 cups Gatorade any flavor, chilled or frozen
  • 1 cup ice cubes preferably frozen beforehand

Equipment

  • Freezer
  • Blender

Method

  1. Pour the Gatorade into the jar of your blender.
  2. Add the ice cubes to the blender with the Gatorade.
  3. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture becomes thick, slushy, and has a vibrant, opaque appearance, about 30-45 seconds.
  4. Pause briefly to check the consistency; if it's too thin, add a few more ice cubes and blend again for a creamier texture.
  5. Turn off the blender and open the lid to see the icy, crunchy texture with swirls of color.
  6. Pour the Gatorade slushie into glasses, allowing some of the icy bits to spill over for a fun presentation.

Notes

For an extra flavor kick, add a splash of lemon juice or a pinch of flavored salt before blending. You can also try different Gatorade flavors for varied colors and tastes.
