- Pour the Kool Aid powder into a mixing container. Add cold water and stir vigorously until the powder dissolves completely and the liquid is bright and uniform in color.

- Every 30 minutes, open the freezer and stir the mixture gently with a spoon or spatula to break up any ice chunks and promote even freezing. Repeat this process until the mixture is firm but scoopable, about 4 hours.
- Once the slushie has a velvety, icy texture that’s easy to scoop and has developed a rich, vibrant color, serve it immediately in glasses or cups.
