  • 1 cup milk or yogurt dairy or plant-based
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter natural preferred
  • 1 cup berries frozen or fresh, such as strawberries or blueberries
  • 2 tbsp jam or jelly preferably berry-flavored
  • honey or maple syrup to taste optional sweetener for adjusting sweetness
  • granola, nuts, or additional berries for topping optional toppings crunchy or fresh

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • Spoon
  • Bowl
  • Knife

Method

  1. Place the bananas, milk or yogurt, peanut butter, and berries into the blender.
  2. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth, creamy, and thick, about 30 seconds. The mixture should look vibrant and slightly frothy.
  3. Taste the smoothie and add honey or maple syrup if you'd like it sweeter. Blend again briefly to incorporate.
  4. Spoon the thick smoothie into a bowl, spreading it out gently with the back of the spoon.
  5. Dollop spoonfuls of jam or jelly on top of the smoothie base in random spots.
  6. Use a toothpick or small spoon to swirl the jam into the smoothie, creating a marbled effect with vibrant ribbons.
  7. Finish with toppings like granola, nuts, or extra berries for added crunch and visual appeal.
  8. Serve immediately with a spoon, enjoying the creamy texture and nostalgic flavors.

Notes

For an extra boost of texture, sprinkle chia seeds or hemp hearts on top. Use frozen bananas for a colder, thicker bowl or fresh for a lighter finish.
